Bobby Chance

Husband, father, grandfather, evangelist, missionary, song-writer, musician, author, born again christian

Bobby is a prolific songwriter, singer, drummer and guitarist. He has released three albums, with an EP now in process.  He has traveled the US and Canada as a member of Sparrow Records recording artists, Children of the Light.  This country-rock group shared the stage with early Christian music pioneers Keith Green, Scott Wesley Brown, The Archers, Honeytree and many other groups.  They were Barry McGuire's backup band at many concerts and festivals.  

Bobby, with wife Dot, answered God's calling to take Jesus to the streets in 1981.  They moved to Hollywood and joined Charles and Judy McPheeters as part of the Holy Ghost Repair Service.  As a full-time street evangelist, Bobby joined and led many teams in outreaches to Mardi Gras, the 1984 Summer Olympic, Fantasy Festival, Presidential Inaugurations, as well as international outreaches to Russia, the Phillipines, Japan, Indonesia, South Africa; anywhere that the Lord leads him to go.

He was a founding steering committee member of the National Street Ministries Conference, directed by Scott Hinkle.  In 1986, Bobby and Dot launched Streetwise Ministries, which ministered throughout the US, as well as internationally.  In 2014, Bobby and Dot founded J316 Global Rescue.  Worldwide in scope, Bobby leads teams to disaster areas, providing aid and ministry to hurting people.
